As a child, her parents stressed how important it is to be fluent in both languages. Having been brought up that way, she understands how useful it could be for children to also be exposed to a second language at such a young age.

She has had experience in child care for over 7 years as a nanny and taking care of her nephews as well as being a teacher at local preschool. Her and her husband, Hogan, have two young daughters who currently attend Orange Daisy.

Having grown up in Carmel, Indiana, she later got her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from IUPUI and her certification to be an interpreter. She is currently working on obtaining additional certification in Child Development.

Belen has over 20 years of experience in child care. Having been an assistant Spanish teacher in Washington Township schools, an after school program teacher in Carmel Clay Schools, and a preschool teacher for over 10 years at a preschool in Carmel, IN, she has plenty of experience with children.

Along with her two kids, she has 4 grandchildren whom she loves. Being around kids and art are her biggest passions. 

Sydnie is a long time artist and lifetime lover of laughter and fun. She brings imagination and novel learning experiences to our daily routine. She is the mother of two great children, and an aunt to 3 nephews and nieces. She has been an integral part of many young children's growth and learning.
