Learning Through Curiosity, Creativity, and Discovery
Every day at Orange Daisy is thoughtfully designed to help children explore, create, discover, and grow. Through meaningful experiences, hands-on learning, and plenty of time to play, children build the confidence and skills they'll carry with them long after preschool. As part of those daily experiences, children are immersed in both English and Spanish through conversations, songs, stories, games, and everyday routines, helping them develop confidence with a second language in a natural and encouraging way.

🌎 Cultural Exploration
Every month, we travel to a different country through stories, music, art, food, traditions, and celebrations. Children discover that the world is full of unique people, places, and perspectives while developing curiosity, appreciation, and respect for different cultures.
🌱 Learning Beyond the Classroom
Some of our favorite lessons happen outdoors. Whether we're tending the garden, exploring nature, observing seasonal changes, or simply enjoying fresh air, children develop an appreciation for the natural world while staying active and engaged.

Children learn best by asking "why?" Through hands-on experiments, nature exploration, STEM activities, and open-ended investigations, they develop problem-solving skills and discover the joy of exploring how the world works.

📚 Kindergarten Foundations
Through play-based learning, children naturally build early literacy, math, language, and critical thinking skills. By following each child's developmental pace, we prepare them for kindergarten while helping them develop confidence in their own abilities.
Growing Through Two Languages
One of the unique experiences at Orange Daisy is our bilingual learning environment. Children are naturally introduced to both English and Spanish throughout their day through songs, stories, conversations, games, and everyday routines. Language becomes a natural part of learning—not something that's memorized or forced.
Research has shown that early exposure to multiple languages supports cognitive flexibility, strengthens problem-solving and listening skills, and builds confidence communicating with people from different backgrounds. Just as importantly, it helps children see language as a bridge to understanding the world around them.
Our goal isn't perfection or memorization. It's helping children develop curiosity, confidence, and an appreciation for another language that can benefit them for years to come.

9:30-10:00 Workbooks
10:00-10:30 Snack Time
10:30-11:00 Activity (Science, Craft, etc)
11:00-Noon Outside play (weather permitting)
Noon-12:20 Playtime
12:20-12:30 Cool down
12:30-12:50 Lunch
12:50-1:00 Prep for nap time
1:00-3:00 Nap time
3:00-3:30 Wake up/ Clean up
